At long last we can see some normality return to our lives and no better way than to see the Saturday morning academy back up and running. Seventy plus kids were greeted by glorious sunshine last Saturday morning as our ever popular academy gave the soccer mad kids and coaches some normality back in their routines. The club’s weekly junior soccer academy will now continue every Saturday morning [weather permitting] under the watchful eye of senior club coaches Johnny Dunne, Robbie Dover and Stephen Clarke. Come along and learn the skills of football while having fun and enjoyment, it’s a great way of meeting new friends as you learn the skills as you get prepared for the introduction to participate in organised league football in the coming years. Even though we are back we will still request that people adhere to the FAI safe return to training guidelines in regards to the two metre distance rule. It is advisable for guardians to read the FAI safe return to training guidelines prior to attending the academy.
